Partnership roles: How hosting works

A host is an organization (corporation, university, consultancy, etc.) that seeks to train a specific audience. The host contracts VentureClient.org for course design and delivery. Here is how responsibilities are shared:

The Host

  • Defines course audience and learning objectives
  • Promotes the course and manages participant registrations
  • Collects tuition fees (if applicable)
  • Provides venue, catering, materials, and on-site logistics

VentureClient.org

  • Designs curriculum and adapts course to host requirements
  • Creates all course content and teaching materials
  • Selects and compensates VentureClient.org accredited faculty
  • Delivers the course and issues certificates (where applicable)

Commercials: VentureClient.org charges the host a fee for course content and delivery. Pricing and lead times depend on customization requirements such as course format, duration, and cohort size.

Cohort types

Public cohort (open enrollment)

You run a public program in your region or network. You market it, manage registrations, and collect fees.

Private cohort (in-company / closed group)

You host an internal program for your organization (or a closed consortium). Ideal for building a shared capability baseline across teams.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a course host?

A course host is a company or institution that aims to educate its audience (such as employees, members, or partners) in a specific domain of Venture Clienting. Based on the host's learning objectives and audience, VentureClient.org designs either a single course or a multi-course program using its established course formats.

Who can host a course?

Any organization, such as corporations, universities, consultancies, associations, or public institutions.

Does VentureClient.org customize courses?

Yes. We customize course content based upon audience and learning objectives. If required, courses may include certification components. We further tailor the courses in depth and length and class size.

Who owns the course rights?

VentureClient.org. This ensures consistent quality and allows us to maintain a global network of accredited faculty. The host receives a license to run the course under agreed terms.

What are the tuition fees and organizational costs of a course?

Tuition fees and organizational costs vary based on the course format, duration, and target audience. Fees, costs and payment terms are discussed during the host info session. In general, the host pays VentureClient.org for content and delivery. All organizational costs, including venue, catering, materials, and faculty travel, are borne by the host.

Who collects the tuition fees from the participants?

The host collects tuition fees, if applicable, from participants. The host may set the tuition fee based on the value provided to the participants and the market context. For public courses, the host is responsible for marketing, registration, and fee collection; for private courses, the host manages invitations and access.

Can hosts run private and public courses?
